Midway Nissan is happy to announce our sponsorship of the Donevan Recreation complex. We love being a part of the Durham Community, and can’t wait to use the Arena this winter. Donevan Arena enthusiastically published an article below highlighting our new partnership.
“The City is pleased to announce that Midway Nissan has agreed to a five-year partnership agreement to sponsor the arena at the Donevan Recreation Complex.
“We are excited that Midway Nissan, a long-term Durham Region business, is partnering with the City and sponsoring the arena at Donevan Recreation Complex”
Said Councillor Bob Chapman, Chair of the Community Services Committee. “Sponsorships such as this assist with funding the arena’s operating costs which helps all Oshawa taxpayers – thank you Midway Nissan.”
Established in 1965, Midway Nissan has grown from a small gas station into a premier auto dealer in the Durham Region which serves Oshawa, Whitby, Brooklin
and surrounding areas. “Investing in our community has always been a big part of Midway Nissan’s core values. We are honoured to be partnering with Donevan Recreation Complex. It is surrounded by residential neighbourhoods and offers so much to local residents and beyond. Midway Nissan has been part of the Durham community for over 50 years and we are proud to be associated with this facility, investing in Oshawa’s future,” said Jim Sullivan, President, Midway Nissan.
Sponsorship recognition installation will begin late August including:
• exterior signage
• ice logos during the regular ice season
• two banners installed in the arena above the spectator benches
• branding on the score clock and change room doors
• rink boards and wall boards
• upstairs viewing area, stairs and elevator door
• recognition in City of Oshawa communication materials such as the activeOshawa guide and City website.
In addition, the official announcement will take place on Thursday, October 12 at 10 a.m. at Donevan Recreation Complex.
