Nissan Wins Top JD Power 2025 Award

Award Winning SUVs, Sedans & Trucks

Nissan has achieved the highest ranking among mass market brands in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS), securing the second position in the industry overall.

This esteemed benchmark of new-vehicle quality is derived from owner feedback collected during the initial 90 days of ownership.

The J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study, which assesses issues per 100 vehicles, revealed that Nissan recorded the fewest problems per 100 vehicles among all mass market competitors, highlighting notable advancements in quality and customer experience.

Several Nissan models stood out in their respective segments:

Nissan’s acknowledgment by J.D. Power as the leading mass market brand in initial quality underscores the company’s dedication to creating vehicles that prioritize quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Kicks & Murano Named Most Dependable

The Nissan Kicks was named Most Dependable Small SUV, while the Nissan Murano was named Most Dependable Midsize SUV.

The all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks, introduced last year, features a street-smart design, unexpected levels of available technology, a versatile interior and best-in-class standard ground clearance.

The new model offers enhanced confidence behind the wheel with Kicks-first available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and available ProPILOT Assist for highway driving.

The all-new 2025 Nissan Murano was launched in late 2024, and pairs stunning design with premium features and seamless connectivity. Its bold new look is combined with a powerful, advanced 241-horsepower, 2.0-litre VC-Turbo powertrain.

Murano helps drivers stay connected with available Google built-in, and enhances driver confidence with standard Nissan Safety Shield® 360 and new driver-assistance technology, including available Invisible Hood View.
